Reference services are evolving with changing patron needs and with varied information resources and formats. Libraries continue to provide communities with supportive services using traditional and emerging tools and resources.
The goal of this workshop is to equip staff with a basic understanding of professional reference conversations with patrons. Join Susan Brown, Assistant Director and Head of Reference at Derry Public Library, as she offers guidance on how to handle reference interactions.
This presentation is sponsored by the NHLA Paralibrarian Section and is open to members and non-members. Attendees can join in person or virtually.
Cost: $10 NHLA Paralibrarian members $15 NHLA members/guest
