Registration deadline is October 14th.

9-9:30: Registration, Morning Refreshments and Raffle Sales.

9:30-10: CHILIS Business Meeting, Board Elections & Video from Great Stone Face Winning Author Cece Bell.

10-11: PRIVACY AND CONFIDENTIALITY OF CHILDREN IN LIBRARIES. Devon Chaffee, Executive Director, NH ACLU, will address confidentiality issues of minors, particularly the confidentiality of library records.

11-11:15: Break & Raffle Sales. (Please wear something “fall-like” to receive a raffle discount.)

11:15-12:15: LIBRARIES, KIDS, AND CONFIDENTIALITY. An officer from the Laconia Police Department and Attorney John Wallace, former General Counsel and Associate Commissioner of the New Hampshire Department of Health and Human Services, will offer perspectives on negotiating the rights of children, including the right to privacy, when confronted with sensitive issues involving minors in a library. 

12:15-1:40: Lunch.  If you have dietary issues, please call Gail Drucker at the Laconia Public Library at 524-4775 ext. 17.

1-1:40: Luncheon Speaker: Paul Durham. “Teller of Fibs” and Author of The Luck Uglies http://pauldurhambooks.com/

1:40-2: Book Signing with Paul Durham.

2-3:  SHINE DURING STORY TIME. Discover ways to make your story time come to life through dance, music, props, play, puppets and the imagination. Panelists include Tanya T. Roberts, Wadleigh Memorial Library in Milford; Carol Sanborn, Hampton Falls Free Library; and a representative from Upper Valley Music Center.

3-3:15: Raffle Drawings.
