Awards & Nominations

Chaired by the Immediate Past-President, the Awards Committee solicits nominations for the Ann Geisel Award of Merit and any other association awards annually. The Committee determines and communicates award criteria and nomination deadlines to NHLA membership. the committee recommends the award recipients, if any, from the nominations received. Approval from the NHLA Executive Board should happen on or before the October Executive Board meeting. The Committee informs all of the nominators of the Committee's decision and allows time for the recipient to invite friends and family to the presentation at the NHLA Fall Business Meeting. The Committee is also responsible for ordering the physical award and the award presentation.
