FUNDAMENTALS OF CATALOGING AND CLASSIFICATION

Do you see Cataloging & Classification as a daunting, mysterious process?  Let Linda Kepner help you transform it into an intriguing brain exercise by showing you the history and fundamentals of this “very librarian” skill.  Hands-on worksheets are based on the Sears List of Subject Headings and the Dewey Decimal Classification system – bring any edition (DDC Abridged or Unabridged) that you have, the newer the better.

Linda Tiernan Kepner has been a medical librarian and a high school librarian, and now is cataloguer at Peterborough Town Library.
