The internet is a vast but rich resource that brings both convenience and risk. Statistics show that the weakest link in cybersecurity is often the staff member in an organization. In this “Cyber Hygiene Best Practices for Librarians” workshop, participants will learn about the common cybersecurity risks and mitigating measures along with tools they can use to protect themselves and the data assets of their libraries. The goal of this workshop is to foster an awareness and general practice of being a strong human firewall as the last line of defense.
